That would have been a neat trick, considering the original MISL's last year of operation was 1992.
Indoor soccer was a fad, a dead end. The Rowdies were better off getting back into the 11 a side outdoor game where they belonged. What killed them in 1993 was the inability to find new owners, not what league they played in. If they had found owners in 1993 maybe MLS would have found owners for them in 1996. But they didn't.
What I meant was, if the Rowdies had continued playing in the MISL, they would have probably earned more revenue to survive until after 1993.
