Stuart Lee 1984

Stuart Lee was born in Manchester, England on the 11th February 1953. He started his pro career with second division side Bolton Wanderers at the age of 16. By the time he was 24 he moved to Wrexham for three years. He played for another two teams before moving to the USA, Stockport County, where he was named their MVP, and then Manchester City.
In 1980 Stuart joined the NASL with the Portland Timbers, he finished his inaugural NASL season as the team's fourth leading scorer with 8 goals. Remained with the Timbers until the 1982 season. He then spent two seasons in the MISL with the Kansas City Comets and the LA Lazers. Notched up 24 goals in 46 games for the 1982-83 Comets. Then notched up an impressive 33 goals and 21 assists in 47 games for the Lazers. He then appeared for coach Rodney Marsh and the Carolina Lightnin' in the 1983 outdoor season.
Came to the Rowdies for the 1984 outdoor season, playing in 12 games.
Today, Stuart is involved with coaching the FC Seattle Storm Academy, where he is their Director and President of the Seattle Storm Inc., and is a USSF. "A" Licensed coach that has been training and coaching players since 1984.
