Mossy stayed at Swindon until the end of the 1977/1978 season - his major achievements for the Town coming in the FA Cup, where he scored thirteen goals in six seasons, including seven in five games in the cup run of 1976/1977. During his final year, he was the club's top scorer, prompting Luton to pay a six-figure fee. He was part of the Luton Town team who won promotion to the First Division.
In 1981, he joined the Rowdies, he soon became a hit with the fans with his excellent wing play. Appeared in 17 games and scored 11 goals and 13 assists. Sadly, this was his only year with the Rowdies.
Mossy returned to Swindon in 1985, when Lou Macari brought him back to the club, to add some experience to his young team. After just four appearances, he picked up an injury, and he never played League football again.

Both of them then moved to Manchester City in September 1993 before being fired in May 1995 and then they went to Huddersfield Town in July 1995. Were they were both sacked in October 1997.
Since then Mossy was assistant at Stockport County until he was sacked in February 2004.
He then had appointments as Manager of Macclesfield Town, and then Northwich Victoria in the Conference North as Assistant Manager.
