Robert "Ike" Isaacson was born in Scotia, New York. He was the Rowdies third round draft choice from Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, in 1975.
He played in only two games during the 1975 NASL indoor tournament held at the Bayfront Center. He was an elegant player whose long and languid-looking strides often deceived defences into overconfidence. Had exceptional ability heading the ball.
