Sandje Ivanchukov 1978, 1980; 1979 - 1980 (id)
Sandje Ivanchukov was born 23rd June, 1960 in Howell Township, New Jersey. He was originally signed on an amateur contract to protect his Olympic eligibility. A left-footed defender, he enjoyed attacking with his aggressiveness and speed.
After the Rowdies he moved on to the San Jose Earthquakes in 1980, but only made two appearances.
Had a very troubled life after soccer.
Sadly Sandje passed away on 29th August 2007, he was only 47.

Barry Kitchener 1979
Barry started his career at 15 years of age with Millwall, going onto make 602 appearances, which is still a club record 1966 to 1982. Joined the Rowdies ten games into the season, played his first game on the 30th March against the Memphis Rogues, and stayed in the team until the last game - Soccer Bowl '79 against the Whitecaps.
Was Exceptionally strong in the air, especially at free kicks as a target man.
Barry has just released a cd autobiography, where he talks about his playing career, called "60 Minutes with Barry Kitchener".

Rowdies Memorabilia - 1975 Rowdies KICK Magazine
Volume 1, Number 3: May 3rd, saw the Cosmos come to town, a crowd of 8,378 witnessed a 1-0 win , with Stewart Scullion scoring the winner.

Jim Fleeting 1978
Jim Fleeting was born 8th April, 1955 in Glasgow, Scotland. Jim, was the first British teenager to join the Rowdies. On loan from Norwich City, he was expected to replace the departed Stewart Jump in the middle of defence due to his 6-1 frame.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland. He also, helped the Rowdies to the Soccer Bowl, with his 32 appearances and 3 as a substitute.
Today, he is back living in Scotland.
