Tim Collins played in five Indoor games during the 1979 season. He also came on as a substitute against Dynamo Moscow (USSR) in an Exhibition Game, 17th February, in a 1-1 draw. Steve Wegerle scoring the Rowdies goal. Tim came to the Rowdies at the same time as Malcolm Chandler, as trialists from the UK. His postition was full back or sweeper. He played for the Southern League team Dartford in 1978, before that he had appeared for Fisher Athletic between 1972 to 1978. Today he lives in Co. Kerry, Ireland.

I know Tim very well. He is a customer at my garden centre and is chairman of Killorglin AFC.
