Here's a strange one, Derek Smethurst wearing Colin Fowles' #6 jersey in 1976, against the Washington Diplomats. Derek has told me, the reason for this was that his jersey had got ripped and soaked due to the heavy rain fall, and there wasn't a replacement #12 jersey. Did the late Colin Fowles ever make an appearance for the Rowdies during exhibition games?Please email me if you know.
